Ermelinda Falletta – University of Milan, Italy
Project: Development of high sensitive polyaniline based piezoresistive films by conventional and green chemistry approaches
Purpose of the stay: Prepare and measure the piezoresistive properties of conductive polymers as polyaniline (PANI). These polymers are gaining increasing interest due to their large range of applications as sensing materials. As main results we can extraordinary high gauge factors were obtained in 4-point-bending measurements, reaching values up to 100. Overall, it was demonstrated the suitability and large potential application of these materials as force and deformation sensors.
